This is the Revell
Dodge Sidewinder concept truck kit.
I
used Baywatch decals and the light bar from the Nissan pickup
kit by Lindberg. This kit has cool tires, they have a flame
tread pattern to them. I don't think you will find those
tires in any other kit that I know of.
The
figure is added by me, painted accordingly for the truck.
I added a surfboard (though I don't know where it came from.)
that the girl is standing on. She won't stand on her own,
so the surfboard fixed that issue, and looks good too.
The
hood opens nicely on this kit to show the detailed V10
Viper engine that the truck comes with. The back cover for
the bed opens too.
The
paint is Testors Gloss Yellow.
For
the most part it's built straight out of the box except
for the lightbar and decals. It was a fun project.
I
shipped this model to be in a model car show. but I never
got it back. So it's probably still floating around somewhere
on a modeler's model shelf. C'est La Vie.
