Bryce
is a software program to make 3D art. It's a bit old and
started in the late 1990s. I started with a used version
of Bryce 2 I bought, sometime around the year 2000 I think.
Eventually I bought the latest release, Bryce 5.
Bryce
can do backgrounds, modeling, even animation. So it's quite
powerfull. Eventually is was surpassed by newer software
programs, but considering Bryce 5 was less that $ 100.00
(compared to the THOUSANDS of dollars 3D software goes for
today) it was an amazing bargain. The last time I looked
it's developement had stopped.
I
don't have the time much anymore, so I don't use it as often
as I used to, but it's still fun to mess around with, and
even practical if you are a graphic artist as it can make
3D art you can use in an ad or display.
Anyway,
here are some art pieces I've made experimenting with it.
