Batman Bike - Mentioned by HobbyLink Japan
Batman Bike from Movie
This
Batman Bike is shown on
HobbyLinks
website. A picture they took at the 2008 Tokyo Toy Show.
I think it is probably a toy rather than a model, maybe a prototype,
but it is hard to tell. Looks like a lot of detail for just
a toy.
Either way it's cool !

Accurate Miniatures UAV Predator Kit in 1:72
UAV RQ-1 Predator Plastic Kit
Accurate
Miniatures is soon going to release a 1:72 scale kit of
the UAV
RQ-1 "Predator". I look forward to this kit, I
have always found these remote controlled aircraft interesting.
I
hope someone offers a figure and some ground remote gear to
go with this kit.
The predator is designed as a medium altitude
aircraft operates between 10,000 and 20,000 feet. It is powered
by a Rotax 4-cylinder engine, driving a pusher propeller. It
measures 27 feet in length with a wingspan of 58 feet by 8 inches.
A color camera is fitted in the nose to provide operator vision.
Recon systems include a daylight TV camera, infrared low-light
camera, and synthetic aperture radar system. Initially developed
as a stable recon platform, two external pylons fitted with
"Hellfire" air-to-ground missiles may be carried to
neutralize high-threat targets.
My
guess is that it is a curbside. The wheels look aftermarket,
so it's hard to say if it can be built stock or not. Still,
if you like this body style, or Pontiacs in general, this would
be a good kit to pick up.
Kotobukiya
Batman Figure Model
Kotobukiya
Batman Models
Hobby
Search also offers a new Kotobukiya
Batman figure, from the latest movie. I like the base, it's
a good addition to the statue.
This
kit is 1:6 scale and made
from PVC. It is also pre painted, but that won't stop a modeler
from doing a bit of detailing here and there.
Fantastic
Plastic's V-47 Warlock Orbital Fighter Model
Fantastic
Plastic Resin V-47 Sci-fi Kit Models
Fantastic
Plastics has released their resin kit of an original design,
the V-47
Warlock. They hold a contest now and then and let modelers
submit projects to be made into a kit. This was the 2007 winner
from Scott Spicer.
I
get a sense of Anime (Captain Harlock to be sure) from the design
of this kit. Still, it's pretty cool. And being an original
design, and a somewhat limited production kit, it would make
a good addition to any sci-fi model collection. Get them while
you can.
