You can sit in the car too. The wheels are very creative on how he came up with a way to make them (round). Now that's a feat.

There are modelers, those of us who build replicas from kits. Then there are the craftsmen, who can make anything. Kit or no kit.

Here's an amazing example of a builder constructing a Toyota engine out of nothing more that Evergreen. It's mind blowing. But it also shows how a few simple shapes, in the hands of a master, can become something quite complicated.

Moebius Models is coming out with an all new tooling of Marvel's Ironman. Oh yeah !

To me this harkens back to the day of the old vinyl Horizon model kits, when they made a whole line of comic book hero kits, including an Ironman. They were good kits too.

Polar Lights did a few supers as well, such Spiderman and The Hulk. Even Monogram did Superman, Batman, and Robin.

But now Moebius has really taken off, I look forward to this kit !

Kotobukiya has released a statue of the Incredible Hulk. Not just a bust, as usually seen but the entire Big Green Man himself.

Currently the figure is available at HobbySearch. I'm not sure what the hunk of metal is....probably someone's car that got in the way!

I'm a big fan of 1:25-1:24 boat kits. I've built several, notably my Budweiser Ski Boat with a Ford Boss 429.

His latest creation features an Allison V12 aircraft engine. He doesn't just glue the engine it, there are a lot of modifications done to the body of the boat and interior. These changes are crafted so well, that to modelers who are unfamiliar to the boat kits, you can't tell the work that was involved. These are beautiful examples of these kits, and well executed.

If you ever thought of building one of these kits, and have one in your stash, this is the place you want to get some ideas.

Note that using aircraft engines in boats is nothing new, and if you remember the PT-series boats from WWII, those actually had 3 aircraft engines! Meaning they had some serious horsepower !

Bandit Resins has released 2 new offerings in their resin line. A 1955 Chevy Sedan Delivery and a 1969 Oldsmobile 442 Cutlass Sedan.

As usual, these are some of the cleanest examples of a resin kit you will find. You can almost mistaken these for styrene plastic.

I've mentioned this kit a few times already, but it's out now in Europe. To import one to the U.S., with shipping and the exchange rates, would probably run you about, oh, a whopping $ 300.00+.

Word and rumors say it will be headed to the USA months from now, so we will see how that fares. Maybe by the end year Holidays? It's hard to say for sure. I still think that it would make a good Rock band tour bus or motor home if the interior was redone (scratch built).

Either way, if you want some first glimpses of the (huge!) kit, check out this site. If you have been to that site before, you know that guy builds some incredible trucks and Fire engines. Now he's jumped on this bus, and already he's showing ways to modify the kit and make it even better.

One of his first modifications he's done is to hinge the rear "engine door cover". But check out the site for a lot more pictures.

Wave has released their Appleseed figures, notably Duenan Knute and Briareos. These are 1:10 scale, and our from the second movie, Ex Machina. Both very good movies (I personally own them both).

While these films are anime (including visual cgi work), they are not children's movies. But if you like action and some gunfire, along with some cool scifi design, these are for you.

Reliable Resin is releasing a much anticipated Ford Mustang LX Coupe (1987-1993 body style).

There have been various kits of the GT style body, and even a few resin examples of the Coupes from companies long out of business, but now modelers can build either their own personal coupe or one used in many of the countries Police and State Trooper fleets.
