From
the League
of Extraordinary Gentlemen - movie. The kit is 1/24 scale
and is made by a model company WAVE, from Asia. There is
no engine, it is a curbside.
But
I am thinking an older 1920's Lincoln or Cadillac 8 or 12
cylinder would be a good engine to add by opening the hood
and modifying the kit.
This
kit I bought from Monsters in Motion.
The
real car for the movie was based on a Ford van chassis and
I think, a rover engine. If you get the DVD, the extras
on there tell you how the car was built.
I
often wonder if this same car had the body removed, and
was used to make the FAB 1 car for Lady Penelope in the
Thunderbirds
live action movie, since both have 4 wheels in front. (some
scenes of the car were CGI, but some are a real car or prop).
As
a side note, this was Sean
Connery's last movie, and one of my favorites. He has
since retired.
The
movie was based on a comic
book.
Below,
even the directions are unique. Printed on black paper,
and in color.
