Polar Lights Green
Hornet Black Beauty Chrysler 300 kit.
Sadly,
this kit is 1/32 scale, If it had been 1/24 or 1/25, I think
Polar Lights would have sold 3 times as many kits. I know
I would have bought more than one.
Still,
the box art is cool.
The
1960's TV show featured a young Bruce Lee as Kato. A recent
tribute reference to that show and character can be seen
in Kill
Bill 2. In fact, they use the original Green Hornet
theme in that movie as well to introduce the characters
with the Kato black masks.
(In
the 1960's TV show, Kato drives the car while the Green
Hornet rides in the back, so in Japan, the show is known
as the Kato Show). |
