This
is the next project. A Subaru
WRX AWD. A friend gave this kit to me without a box,
but this top above should be about the right version.
The
body comes molded in a metallic blue plastic. But it had
a few swirls in it, so I painted it Tamiya metallic blue,
about the same color as the plastic, just a hair darker
in tone.
I
didn't use any primer, and as usual, I painted out of a
rattle can.
There
are a couple of choices in the kit for the hood scoop, and
rear wing. I made my choices, and glued them on prior to
painting.
This
first picture just below is the body without paint.

Subaru
Performance Handbook Training WRX - This book intends
to be a reference resource for anyone who owns, or intends
to own a Subaru. The book focuses on the Impreza but has a
lot of additional information on other Subaru models It provides
a wealth of information about the design, strengths and weaknesses
of the car, together with a comprehensive guide to improving
the car according to one's own requirements. Owners of turbo
model Forester, Liberty/Legacy GT need not feel left out.
Many of the techniques, products and most importantly, end
results are very similar to the WRX. The book is aimed at
rookie to enthusiast owners planning to modify their car in
some way.
