This
is a Polar Lights Spiderman figure kit. This is similar to
the one I believe Aurora had in the early 1970's. (A kit I
remember building as a kid), which was 1:12 scale. The
Polar Lights version is larger, 1:8 scale.
One
cool think is the Spiderman figure has a pose that can be
used in various ways. I used to hang one of them from my ceiling
in my bedroom on thread. Or mount it with double sided tape
onto a wall or ceiling.
Below
is a picture of the kit built from Polar Lights website.
The
man on the ground is Spiderman's arch villain Kraven.

Essential
Spider-Man Vol. 1 - "The Essential Spider-Man" harkens
us back to the early 60s, when an angst-ridden teenager first
was bitten by a radioactive spider and learned that with great
power comes great responsibility. Stan Lee is often ridiculed
for his overwrought prose, but his Spider-Man tales remain extremely
poignant and affecting some four decades after they were written,
while their postmodern successors seem dated already.
