A
1/48 P40 Aircraft. I believe it was a Hasegawa
kit.
It
appealed to me because of the Tiger artwork decals for the
cowl. Also, I was inspired by a magazine article, and the
P40 was right on the cover itself.
It
was not hard to build, the fitment was very good. It is painted
with various dull flat colors, and I tried to do the plane
exactly like the box art.
Below
I took a picture (with the left wing attached to a stick out
of camera range, and the propeller removed) just to see what
it would look like against the sky outside, as if it was flying.
I then modified it in photoshop to give it an old black and
white look.
