The
kit only includes one set of wheels, though if you had two
kits, you could use 4 tires on the rear.
There
is no 'glass' for the cab.
When
these kits were first issued, you could only buy them in a
John Deere Machinery / Tractor store. Later on AMT released
them for everyone. They also at the same time released a John
Deere Backhoe.
Circus
and Carnival Trucks 1923-2000: Photo Archive - "Being
an over 30 year member of the Circus Model Builders and
known for the circus truck models I have built, this book has
a lot of picture history. I remember seeing the truck that is
on the cover when I was a child and it brings back memories. I
have never seen any of the photos in this book before and many
of the over land trucks I have seen in person. This book is a
must for all people interested in the circus or the many types
of trucks circuses used."
John
Deere: A History of the Tractor - Acclaimed author and photographer
Randy Leffingwell uses his unique brand of storytelling to tell
the history of this amazing company and the machines that have
carried its distinctive green and yellow livery. With details
gathered from exclusive interviews and access to John Deere's
company archives, Leffingwell searched out collectors with restored
tractors, or those in superb original condition, to illustrate
his text with over 300 beautiful color photographs. Also
throughout the book are a number of archival photographs and exclusive
never-before-seen drawings and writings from the journals of Theo
Brown, head of Deere's Plow Works experimental division from 1916
to 1952, as well as other key figures in the company's history.
John

Sklovsky experiments; the Waterloo Boy and British Overtime; the

immensely popular B; the Lindeman crawlers; the orchard, wide-tread,
hi-crop, industrial, and other variations; to the New Generation
and beyond.
