A Monogram (Mork and Mindy) Jeep kit. I made it into a military version. The stuff in the rear was mostly scratch built, like the radio and foot locker box. I used small tow cables on the front bumper.

The bed roll is gauze, white glued (diluted) and tied. Not sure where I got the decals. I used chalks to weather the model.

  • Hummer: The Next Generation - This is by far the best book on the subject regarding both the military and civilian version of AM General's ultimate four-wheel-drive vehicle. It contains the historical development of the Hum-vee from the prototype via Heavy Hummer Variant, A1up to the A2 model and covers most types and applications. The civilian spin-off vehicle is treated in a similarly comprehensive fashion. The photos are good, plentiful and representative. It is my bible on the subject yet it is not a tome but concise and informative!
  • Jeep: Willys, Ford & Bantam Models, 1941-1945 - This book has over 130 photographs with 50 in full color ! It contains all the essential facts about war-time Willys, Ford and Bantam Jeeps. A history, description and analysis of all models and variants. Including specifications and production figures
  • Jeep Military Portfolio 1941-1945 - This book traces the evolution of the WW2 Willys MB & Ford GPW jeeps. It includes driving impressions, service data, history and a report of the "Seep" amphibian. Filled with black & white photos and illustrations. A very interesting book that all Jeep lovers must have!
