This is a Testors
Ford F350 Super Duty kit. The cab is metal, but all
the other parts are plastic. The best thing about this kit
is that it comes with 3 beds. This one, and 2 kinds of stake
beds.
Nice tires too. I added the Coke decals to the kit. It was
prepainted, so I did not paint the outside, although I did
paint the interior gray and do a lot of paint detailing
and touch up.
Monogram
Ford F350 Dually Model Kit
This
is a Monogram Ford F350
Dually. This is a great kit, very good fit. I painted
this one Testors Gloss Black. I used some old Nascar decals
on it.
The
rest is built stock out of the box. This kit has probably
the best one-ton rims there are.

Monogram Ford F350 Dually kit. I wanted to make a big 4x4
off road type truck. What a project. I added a Boss 429
engine (from a Monogram Boss
429 Mustang). I added big tires which I took off a toy
truck I found in a toy store.
I had to make body mounts to raise the body off the frame
to clear the tires. Eventually I painted in a military green.
Classic
American Semi Truck - If American Iron is your bag, especially
1960's through 1980's then it does not get much better than
this. There is a brief history and some excellent classic
trucks going back to the thirties, but mostly the late 50's
onwards dominate this book, especially sixties, seventies,
and eighties.. Popular classics are well represented, e.g.
Kenworth A and B models, all the Macks, Peterbilt, Diamond
T , Autocar, Marmon, Dodge Bighorn, Western Star, Freightliner
Powerliner and even the DF400 International.
