This
is an AMT Ford short
hauler I made it into a fire support vehicle with a
dump bed. using the chassis and cab of a Louisville.
The
dump bed was from a modeling friend, originally part of
a Japanese produced truck kit. I want to say the bed was
part of an Isuzu.
The
toolbox in the middle was also given to me and is also from
another truck model, maybe a tow truck or fire truck. There
are odds and end parts, and various pieces, which I put
all together and detailed.
This
was a fun project to build. The whole thing is painted Testor's
Gloss Red.
I
pictures this as a support truck that brought fire fighting
supplies to wooded areas, where wild fires happen.
