I
made this Ford Mustang
Florida State Trooper car out of a Monogram convertible
kit. I cut and reshaped the roof, and made the rear and
side windows. It is painted in Gloss Black and Testors Ivory.
Below
is the Fred Cady Decal sheet. It has enough
to do 2 cars. Some of the lettering is gold foil in color.
(Fred Cady is out of business, but Chimneyville does these
decals, except the 'State Trooper' lettering is white instead
of gold. I have seen recent Trooper cars with both colors.
So either one is accurate.)

book on Ford Police Cars. Sanow has done a lot of research
and can support his information with facts. Trooper This book
has been a great resource for members of the Emergency Vehicle
Owners & Operators Association. Great reading and filled
with good photos
Cars
of the State Police and Highway Patrol - This book was
bought solely to be used as a reference source for a model
making hobby. Well laid out and excellent photographs
make this a must for the model fanatic. Living in England
there is not a great deal of decent reference material of
this nature. So it was a pleasant surprise to be able to order
this book on line and receive it within days and at an excellent
price. I really cannot recommend this book enough.
