A
Revell Boss 302 Ford Mustang.
This is a good kit, except the front fascia / nose which
can be ill fitting. You have to work on that a bit to get
it to look right and fit flush.
The
paint is Testors Gloss Blue.
I
changed the wheels to some cragers I had from another kit.
I only used the side stripes, I didn't care for the look
of the hood ones.
This
kit also includes the Trans Am Cross Boss fuel intake /
setup. I think this is the only model kit to ever include
that intake setup. (which is a rare TransAm racing part).
This
was one of my Hurricane Wilma cars. Meaning, I had no power
for two weeks, and a lot of free time, so I built a couple
of models.
Monogram
1970 Boss 429 Mustang Model Kit
A
Monogram Boss 429 Ford
Mustang. This is one of my favorite kits. It is so well
designed. The fit is great, and you can't beat the engine.
I
painted this with a BSR Nascar paint color. Interior is
just cheap flat black.
I
also added photo etch brake rotors (probably Detail Masters)
to the front.
