This
is a Revell Monogram 1956
Ford Pickup. The paint is a Testors Ivory color. The
decals are an after market set from Fred Cady. The sheet
was combined with some Ford ones I had from someother model
kits. This pickup truck is a pretty good kit. No fitment
problems.
This kit has been reissued many times over the years, I
think this version came with the extra modern chrome wheels
and tires. They were far better than earlier offerings.
Makes
a good parts truck for a Ford dealer if I do say so.
An
MPC 1950's Ford
Pickup. Built stock out of the box.
I
think the front wheels were actually two halve split tires.
What a pain. And I'm not to crazy about the big n' little's
look either.
Doors
open on this kit too, though I glued them closed. The hinges
are quite finicky.
I
painted it with one of my favorite colors, Testors Gloss
Red.
This
kit might have had a tilt hood as well (I'm just not sure,
it's a very old build).
