"When
I purchased this kit I wanted to use candies and pearls
to make it pop. The kit is great and can be a challenge
to a new builder. The body is in two halves so I filled
in the seams so that it looked one piece.
Then
I base coated with a silver base and the added several coats
of Mandarin Orange Candy. After that I color sanded, applied
the decals, and cleared again.
All of the paint on this one came from Kustom Rides. After
the trike was put together I decided to replace the rear
wheels. I just didn't like the ones in the kit. So it is
time to go through the scrap box and dig up something that
will look better.
This
kit as well as the other three I purchased turned out well.
I
am so glad that there are some folks out there that will
bring back the old kits again."
