"When
I built this car I wanted something different from the stock
kit. As you can see I added the tunnel ram and carbs as
well as the finned valve covers from the scrap box. Then
came the paint.
The
first base color is Nuclear Yellow from my friends at Kustom
Rides. The red is Phoenix Red. These are both metallic.
After the colors were added I applied the decals and cleared,
color sanded, and cleared again. As for the windows I made
the murals myself with decal paper from Kustom Rides.
I printed the decals with my computer and applied them,
then I clear coat them for protection. Something different,
but I thought it would add to the look of the car, making
it kind of a panel wagon. I love the car, it is one of my
favorites.
The
kit is super and goes together well."
