Star Wars Tatooine Sand Speeder Resin scale model.

I don't remember there being any other small scale kits of the Sand Speeder, resin or plastic, but this 1/16 scale big scale model looks to be quite the project. This kit is available from Model Club Productions.

It consists of 24 parts, including a 'clear' windshield. This offering represents the studio scale and 1:1 example built for the original Star Wars movie. Maybe someone will cast an R2D2 droid and a figure of Luke to round it all out? Anyways, the kit appears crisp and bubble free. I imagine the fun part will be weathering it.

BamBam Productions Resin Poseidon Battlestar Scale Model Ship

BamBam Productions has produced a resin kit of Battlestar Galactica's Poseidon. It is 15 inches long, and includes extra guns, a stand, and two extra engines for upgrading. The master was done by the famous Alfred Wong.

I never really like the new TV Show all that much, the classic Battlestar Galactica I feel was better. But if you dig the new series, this kit would be a good addition to your display case.
