Tamiya
has now reissued their Porsche
910. This model is a large 1:12 scale, with photo etched
parts. The kit also includes the famous flat-6 engine and
a full suspension with working springs. The decals are by
Cartograph, with markings for 4 different cars. The front
steering wheels can be operated by the steering wheel.
Lindberg
has been producing the Dodge
L-700 for sometime now, as a stand-alone kit, but they
now have combined them with trailers. One is a flatbed,
with some junked cars, one is with a boxed cargo trailer,
and now their new one will include a tanker. Representing
Skelly Gas.
These
kits are great for a nostalgic truck project. Complete with
BUDD style wheels.
It's
been a great many years since some of these older Show Car
kits have been released, such as this AMT
Royal Rail. Now is the time to get one, just so you
don't have to wait another 30 years. Perfect for kids and
adults alike, they can be fun to do as a father son project.

The
Italeri 1/35 Schnellboot
S100 WWII German Torpedo Boat is now out. Full of detail
from stem to stern, this baby is a full 39+ inches when
assembled ! Over 450 plastic parts, 22 clear parts, two
different diameters or rope and a big tree of over 90 photo-etched
parts. It even comes with extra building materials and a
screwdriver!
Trumpeter
has released their 1:72
scale JMSDF Landing Craft model kit. Don't let the 1:72
fool you, this kit is large, the box is @ 18 x 14 x 4. This
modern amphibious landing craft rides on a cushion of air,
and it used by the U.S., British Navy, among other countries.

can see 3 HUMMVs on board, and HUMMVs are available in 1:72
scale, so there are some good possibilities for this scale
model build.
Revell
has issued the much anticipated 1968
Mustang GT. This is probably the most famous movie Ford
Mustang there is with the Steve McQueen Bullit tie in. I
am sure they will go fast, so now is the time to grab one.
